Resurrection's First Public Worship Service

This past Sunday (January 17th) Resurrection Presbyterian Church held its first public worship service in Carondelet.  Pastor Chris Smith and the the members of the church planting team were surprised at the large turnout—almost 180 people!  The luncheon afterwards was packed.  This is a wonderful start for Resurrection.  Continue to pray for significant outreach in the surrounding community.

Congratulation To Rev. Chris Smith!! We did this same thing here in Lexington Ohio in 1979! You will be super surprised at the rate of growth for the
first five years or so. Sustaining the growth beyond that point is 1) by the grace of GOD, 2) the test of your knowledge of reverse psychology and 3) a lot of
blood sweat & tears! Now go out the and Praise HIM for all the bounty HE has sent you! Build around the mission of sending a mission group to Haiti or Katrina
area (or other simialr natural diasters) in the next two years! It keeps the effort sustained that bulit the church in the first place!! Good luck! ALL thing are possible with GOD's help!! Never picture HIM too small! Tell everyone I siad &
